Stuart trained at Otago University graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008 and a post graduate certificate in Physiotherapy endorsed in Occupational Health Physiotherapy completed in 2014. He has a strong interest in vocational rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, exercise prescription and sports rehabilitation. Stuart is currently the Physiotherapist with the Canterbury Rams. Outside of work Stuart enjoys playing Tennis and Mountain biking.

Mindfulness in a Nutshell

Nobody comes to Physiosouth to learn mindfulness. Patients come because of a physical injury, e.g. a back problem, a knee problem etc. Our belief systems tell most of us that a physical injury of a certain degree or size causes a related amount of pain. Like injury X = X amount of pain, and injury Y = Y amount of pain. This is incorrect.
